The Fibre Cement Products Manufacturers’ Association (FCPMA), established in 1985, is the apex body representing India’s fibre cement industry. Our members manufacture fibre cement sheets—proven, durable, and cost-effective roofing solutions that serve millions of rural households, farms, dairies, and small industries—along with fibre cement pipes used in water supply and sanitation projects.

The association actively promotes awareness around resource optimisation, adoption of new technologies, and eco-friendly alternatives. We represent the industry’s interests across related sectors and advocate for policies that drive growth, innovation, and sustainability.

FCPMA’s core objectives are to support, promote, and guide the growth of the fibre cement industry. We also focus on educating members and stakeholders about alternative fibres as suitable substitutes, ensuring that product quality is never compromised.

The fibre cement industry plays a crucial role in advancing India’s development goals, contributing significantly to employment generation, innovation, and environmental stewardship.

With a market size of ₹10,000 crores, the sector supports nearly 3 lakh direct and indirect jobs through its manufacturing facilities, dealer networks, and allied activities, while strengthening India’s cement and concrete value chain.

• To aid, stimulate and advise on the promotion of Fibre Cement and allied industries.
• To collect, disseminate and enlighten the members and all others connected with the trade and industry on the possible use of alternative fibres as suitable substitutes, without compromising on the quality of the end product.
• To guide the members, consumers, dealers and all others connected with the industry/trade on all Government Regulations including import-export policy.
• To represent the interests of the Fibre Cement Products manufacturers in other inter-connected areas.
